Brandon Cubas and Kay Files were two very special people, both recently passed away. “nameless!” comedy is apart of an even bigger theater community that these two people inspired greatly. In honor of these amazing people “nameless!” comedy is getting together with original cast members and lovers of the theatrical arts for a night of improv with a few surprises.

The show will take place Monday, November 23 at 7pm in Vonnie Borden Theater in Hammond, Louisiana and is being sponsored by the SLU Theater Department and the theater fraternity Alpha Psi Omega.

Brandon Cubas was an original cast member of “nameless!” and when the show was launched in Jamestown, NY gave us his enduring support. He was one of those special talented people who could do anything from fine arts to music. His creativity was endless, the joy he brought to others immeasurable. Cubas left us with so much joy, his work with us still shines today. And there is so much more, so much more(we are still going through his nameless archive)!

Kay Files was a theater heavy weight in Louisiana. She taught theater at SLU and directed many wonderful productions throughout her career. She was the type of teacher that kept inspiring you even after the semester was over. You could ask her anything about the arts and she would discuss it with you. You were her student for life and she wanted you to be the best you could be. She had a brilliant eye for the stage and her productions are still highly revered.

Join us as we honor these people who touched our lives!
